Morocco on Film
Kodak Snapic A1 35mm | Kodak Gold 200
It's no secret that film photography takes you back in time. Ironically, what makes it special is the ability to capture perfect scenes and moments in an imperfect way. Perfection is never the point. Film elevates what you see instead of sanitizing it. It provides a sheen of authenticity that we tend to gloss over with digital tools.
After more than a decade and a half using digital cameras, in June 2026, I decided to take a point and shoot film camera to Morocco to challenge myself while staying in the moment. Below are 24 of the best shots from Marrakech, Fes, Atlas Mountains, and Rabat using three rolls of Kodak Gold 200 film.
