The Maasai tribe, known for their vibrant red clothing and intricate beadwork, are a semi-nomadic people who live in Kenya and Tanzania, maintaining deep ties to their ancestral land. Traditionally cattle herders, the Maasai view cattle as both a source of livelihood and a symbol of wealth, while their customs, rituals, and social structures emphasize community, respect, and the passage of knowledge. Despite the challenges of modernization, the Maasai have preserved many aspects of their cultural heritage, remaining a proud and resilient people with a strong sense of identity and tradition.
